A Change of Pace

I will be placing this blog on ice.   I have one more entry which will direct you to a new blog.   It will be entitled "1942".   It is about one year in the life of a fictitious character during WWII.   

The next posting will be the last and will direct you to "1942".

When this blog returns, it will be enhanced with pictures of the wildlife to which I often refer.

I Met Them In Pittsburgh

Trips to Pittsburgh are times to reconnect.   I got to see most all my family that lives in Pennsylvania except Bead Lady and Sarge (I seldom use real names in my blog unless they have passed). 

At a combination of meals we decided Bead Lady was the family genius.  

Hammer (Bead Lady's son and my nephew) brought his girl to dinner then surprised us all by paying the tab.   We will invite him again.   I will give his girl a name if she sticks it out.   Two Name (my brother) and his wife and daughter attended the meal and a ballgame.   Some folks think I'm kinda funny but Two Name's humor kills!

Lunch was attended by Nurse.   Her husband couldn't attend on account of passing recently (See "Goodbye, George").  At a combination of meals we decided Nurse was the family heart.   Two of her children (Dog Cop and Schedule Lady) and two of her grandchildren live in Pennsylvania.   All four of them attended lunch.  

At a combination of meals we talked about all the family members who weren't present.  

Just to be safe, I'm never planning on missing another family meal.
